About the Program

The bachelor's degree programme International Studies in Management (ISM) prepares students specifically for an international career. Students acquire sound knowledge of business administration with a focus on the global market and learn to apply scientific methods to real problems in a work-related way. From the second semester onwards, courses are held in English only. A special element of the study programme is a one-year studies at one of the international partner universities. The programme includes small learning groups and personal supervision. The course structure consists of: Semesters 1-2 at HSBI studying business administration principles and languages; Semesters 3-4 at a partner university abroad; Semester 5 returning to HSBI for specialized knowledge; and Semester 6 completing a three-month work term (ideally abroad) and the bachelor thesis.
