About the Program

The Economics-Politics program aims to enable future teachers to systematically convey the fundamental relationships between political, social, and economic topics to their students. By combining subject didactics and thematic content with theory-practice elements and school and extracurricular internships, the program comprehensively prepares for later school service and enables teaching the subject Economics-Politics in its entire breadth: Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Didactics of Social Sciences. The Bachelor's program in Economics-Politics is designed to provide interdisciplinary foundations and systematic links between the individual sub-areas of politics, sociology, and economics, and lays the scientific basis for the three component disciplines.
