About the Program
The international master programme "Transfers-Fluids-Materials in Aeronautical and Space Applications" (TFMASA) is a joint program offered by three universities: University of Bordeaux (France), Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany). The program combines studies and research based on aerodynamics, thermodynamics, compressible flows, turbulence, propulsion, combustion, turbomachinery, and material science. TFMASA aims at training the next generation of highly qualified engineers and researchers able to propose decarbonised, sustainable solutions in the aeronautical and space fields, with a focus on renewable energy sources and environmental impact for green transition in aviation. Students will spend an entire semester in each university, creating a unique international experience. The program offers a joint diploma effective since September 2024 and maintains strong relations with industry partners such as DLR, Aerospace Valley, SONACA, SABCA, Safran, Rolls Royce, Chesco, and Onera.
