About the Program

The Therapy Sciences program leads to both a Bachelor's degree and a professional qualification as a physiotherapist. The program improves scientific competencies in the professional field of physiotherapy, taking into account field-specific requirements and modern professional pedagogical knowledge. Graduates gain greater autonomy in therapy and professional practice due to the expanded scientific educational content. The program enables graduates to take responsibility for managing and designing highly complex therapy and professional situations and to design and evaluate them based on scientific methods and findings. The full-time Therapy Sciences program with integrative vocational training offers the opportunity to simultaneously acquire the first professional university degree and a professional qualification. Students complete practical training with cooperation partners in the amount of 1,600 hours, of which 750 hours are part of the Bachelor's program (professional field internships). The program concludes after eight semesters with the Bachelor's thesis. At the same time, the vocational training ends with the state examination (professional final examination), which is integrated into the module examinations.
