About the Program

The Master's in Statistics builds on the Bachelor's degree program in Statistics. Taking into account the demands and changes in the professional world, teaching and learning are designed to equip students with the necessary specialist knowledge, skills, and methods. The aim is to enable them for scientific work, critical classification of scientific knowledge, and responsible action. In the Master's degree program, knowledge of mathematical statistics is deepened through compulsory elective courses in various special fields (such as nonparametric methods, robust statistical methods, econometrics, and clinical studies). In addition to dealing with essential statistical procedures, independent work is also promoted through a variety of projects.
