The Bachelor's program provides knowledge and concepts for mathematical modeling, simulation and optimization and conducting experiments. It combines the fundamentals of applied mathematics, physics and computer science for modeling practical problems, offering an entry opportunity into the research and development areas of industry. The program covers applied mathematics, physics, and computer science fundamentals and connects them with current models of practical problems. Students gain experience in modeling practical tasks in the practical module and learn to network their acquired knowledge in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology (MINT) in a thematically targeted manner. Modules on modern scientific software packages, communication basics, and a 'Scientific English' course complement the technical education.
