About the Program

In this internationally oriented degree program, you will receive an education that will make you a specialist in the field of renewable energies, energy storage and energy efficiency. The energy transition, the expansion of renewable energy, the adaption of energy efficiency measures to reduce CO2 emissions and the sustainable use of natural resources are topics of high social and ecological importance. The study program is praxis-oriented and has an international focus. Through cooperation with the Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland, students have the possibility to graduate with a double degree. The program consists of 7 semesters, with the first 3 semesters focusing on mathematical, scientific and technical fundamentals. From the 4th semester onwards, students gain specialized knowledge in renewable energy technology, energy storage and energy efficiency. The 7th semester includes an internship and Bachelor's thesis, usually completed at a company or research institution.
