About the Program

Research and Innovation Management is a nationally unique dual Bachelor's degree program that prepares students for careers within the German funding structure, in cooperation with the DLR Project Management Agency. In just seven semesters (3.5 years), students gain practical work experience while earning the academic title of Bachelor of Arts. The program covers basics of business administration and the financial and legal principles of research management, with a deeper understanding of how innovation funding and research works in Germany. Practical phases are spent with the DLR Projektträger in Bonn or with German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) in Bonn, providing first-hand experience in modern research management.
