This master's degree in Quantum Science offers an interdisciplinary, research-oriented approach that expands on the scientific foundations established in your undergraduate degree. The program teaches core topics in quantum physics and develops the ability to apply methods and procedures for solving problems in the field of Quantum Science in an interdisciplinary manner. Current research topics include mathematical structures of quantum physics, quantum information theory, machine learning and quantum algorithms, complexity theory and cryptography, quantum computation with trapped ions, nano-photonics and enabling technologies, and photonic and electronic components for quantum technologies.
