About the Program

The Primary School Teaching program spans 10 semesters and concludes with a state examination. Students study a total of four subjects. German and Mathematics are mandatory for all primary school teaching students. Sachunterricht (General Studies) is recommended as the third subject (alternatively, Polish or Low German can be chosen). From the third semester, students select an additional subject from: Polish, Low German, English, Art and Design, Protestant Religion, or Philosophy with Children.
