About the Program

In this degree programme, you will gain knowledge ranging from logistics and financing through ship design, marine environmental protection and marine technology to international legal frameworks and quality management in shipping. The programme has a special structure: after the foundation course, you specialise in 3 specialist fields (profiles): 1. Shipping Company Management and Logistics, 2. Ship and Environmental Engineering (with engineering certificate!), 3. Safety and Quality Management. The first two years of study will be completed in German with additional 'maritime English' training. The sessions in the third year of study will then be offered in English. This programme qualifies you in all technical and economic issues surrounding the sustainable use of the seas. Note: This is an expiring study programme.
