About the Program

Logistics ensures the supply and disposal of companies and entire economies with flows of materials, information, energy and people. From procurement and production to distribution and disposal, it assumes a cross-sectional function across all functional areas along the supply chain. In addition to technology and business administration, the most important tools of the trade are IT systems, the ability to work in a team and leadership skills. The Master's degree program in logistics at TU Dortmund University is a full-time program lasting three semesters, with the third semester being devoted exclusively to writing the Master's thesis. The aim of the master's program is to deepen prior knowledge in logistics and to expand technical and methodological knowledge in order to qualify graduates primarily for research, consulting and management functions.
