Bachelor German + English Law & Economics

Logistics

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

Economic life has changed massively in recent years, and with it the world of logistics: more fragile supply chains, geopolitical uncertainties, green logistics solutions, growing demands in online retail and unstoppable digitalisation. The Logistics/ Business Studies degree course prepares students for these challenges by teaching both business and technical skills: from analytical topics such as logistics planning and logistics controlling to innovative production engineering and technologies for digital transformation. At the beginning of the course, students acquire sound basic knowledge in areas such as general business administration, economics with a focus on sustainability, business informatics, law, quantitative methods, social sciences/management, accounting/controlling and technology. As the course progresses, the share of technical logistics skills increases. Students complete an internship semester in the fifth semester, which can take place either in Germany or abroad. In the seventh semester, students deepen their knowledge by working on a practical project. The degree course concludes with the completion of the Bachelor's thesis.
