About the Program

The International Management programme combines practice-related studies of business administration with simultaneous systematic in-company training. It gives students the relevant specialist knowledge in the individual areas of business administration, and enables them to apply it in the practical phases in the different departments of their training company. The programme integrates phases of theory at the university (on average 32 weeks a year) and practical phases of training in their training company (on average 20 weeks a year). Students acquire practice-oriented business knowledge with a special focus on international management. In the first two years of study, basic business management knowledge is taught and supplemented by method modules, the basics of business informatics and an introduction to international management. In the second and third years, selected core subjects are dealt with in greater depth. The third year of study is characterised by electives (specialisation/minor, compulsory elective subject, excursion) and the bachelor thesis. The program comprises 180 credits in total, with 168 credits for core modules, electives, and specialization modules, and 12 credits for the bachelor's thesis including a colloquium.
