International Business Studies

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

The International Business Studies program prepares students for careers in the international business world. The program focuses on how companies operate in a globalized and digitalized world, how sustainability can be supported, and how to understand and actively shape the behavior of people and markets. In seven semesters, students learn traditional business administration content in an international atmosphere, which they can deepen in specialization studies in the areas of sustainability management, international economics & emerging markets, digital business management, and business psychology. Students can actively influence their course of study by selecting complete specializations or mixing and adapting them according to their individual preferences and interests. There is also the opportunity to sharpen the study profile with a stay abroad: this can be achieved with an integrated practical semester in an international company or organization, combining theoretical and practical experience. Alternatively, students have the option of studying for one or two semesters at one of the university's numerous partner universities.
