Students in the IBT Plus program preferably spend the sixth semester in a company outside Germany and the seventh semester at a partner university. The internship and study semester abroad comprise a total of 60 ECTS, with at least 30 of these ECTS having to include a technical aspect. In the eighth semester, students complete a technical project work, further specialization electives, and write their bachelor thesis.
