About the Program

The Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management at TU Dortmund University is a full-time program of three semesters. After the Master's thesis to be completed in the third semester, the academic degree of Master of Science (Industrial Engineering and Management) is awarded. This degree program is a scientific extension of the corresponding Bachelor's degree program. Equivalent to the Bachelor's degree program, the Master's degree program offers three specializations: Industrial Management, Production Management and Management of Electrical Networks. The choice of specialization in the master's program must be made at the beginning of the program, but is not necessarily dependent on the specialization chosen in the Bachelor's degree program. For the Industrial Management specialization, two different elective blocks are also offered in the area of production technology or energy management.
