About the Program

The Industrial Engineering program focuses on developing interdisciplinary skills combining business, technology, and IT. The Bachelor's degree course provides students with knowledge from all relevant areas of business administration, technology, artificial intelligence and IT that are expected of engineering graduates (e.g. mathematics, materials, technical applications, business administration, artificial intelligence, IT and Industry 4.0). Great emphasis is placed on the practical relevance of the course content. The integrated practical semester, guest lecturers from industry and business as well as current projects and case studies provide this practical relevance. The program offers three specialized majors: Green Energy and Mobility (GEM), Innovative Materials & Products (IMP), and Digital Production (DP). Industrial engineers design, build, operate and improve production systems and distribute goods and services to customers around the world. They can develop creative new ways to solve difficult problems. Whether manufacturing, IT, marketing or research - they ensure more effective implementation. The program teaches specialist skills, methodological skills and social skills through lectures, project work, group work, seminars, case studies and the integrated practical semester. The course can be studied full-time or part-time.
