About the Program

The Industrial Engineering and Management degree program offers an integrated education in technical, economic, mathematic, scientific, and legal disciplines. Students learn both how and why things work in economics and technology, acquiring skills in designing, planning, and operating socio-technical systems. The program is divided into three areas: an integration component (mathematics, statistics, operations research, programming), economics and law, and technical engineering skills where students choose one engineering major from options including civil engineering, chemistry and process engineering, electrical engineering, energy and resources, information and communication systems, mechanical engineering, or transportation engineering. The program requires a technical pre-internship of at least nine weeks and concludes with a bachelor's thesis.
