About the Program

The Master's programme in Geoinformatics introduces students to scientific work, taking into account English as the scientific language in geoinformatics. The aim of this degree programme is the intelligent processing of geographical information in the context of geographical issues. This includes the development of (computer-aided) methods for geodata analysis - from data acquisition & storage, processing, data enrichment to advanced explorative visualisation and cartographic communication. The acquired knowledge and competences are also to be applied in projects before the degree programme is completed with a scientific Master's thesis.
