The world, and with it Lusatia, is in a transition towards climate-neutral technologies. This particularly affects energy technology and energy economics. In Lusatia, young people will be sought in the coming decades to accompany the energy transition and the structural change it has initiated. Students from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg in the Energy Technology and Energy Economics program are urgently needed at the major new research institutes and centers in the vicinity of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg (Fraunhofer IEG, DLR) as well as in young companies that can form from these centers.
