The world, and with it Lusatia, is in a transition towards climate-neutral technologies. This particularly affects energy technology and energy economics. In Lusatia, young people will be sought in the coming decades to accompany the energy transition and the structural change it has initiated. Students from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg in the Energy Technology and Energy Economics program are urgently needed at the major new research institutes and centers in the vicinity of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg (Fraunhofer IEG, DLR) as well as in young companies that can form from these centers. Studying at BTU in the Energy Technology and Energy Economics program creates the professional qualification to support these institutions and thus the structural change in Lusatia and beyond. In the Master's program in Energy Technology and Energy Economics, one of five specific focuses can be chosen. Each focus offers a catalog of freely selectable modules.
