About the Program

In studying for the economics teaching degree program (B.A.), you will absorb basic knowledge of national economics and business economics, their methods and skill in teaching the subject and relevant neighboring disciplines. In this fashion, you will acquire the ability to independently analyze economic problems, propose solutions for them and present them in an organized and audience relevant manner. Your studies will be constructed so that both fundamental national economics and business economics terms, methods, and concepts are taught first. The knowledge of economics will be supplemented by basic political science knowledge pertaining to the German Federal Republic's and the European Union's political system.
