About the Program

Economics is the science of examining and solving economic problems systematically and on a sound methodological basis. While business administration focuses on the individual company, economics is about understanding the interaction of individuals and companies, explaining macroeconomic processes and analyzing the scope for economic policy action. The program contains compulsory modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics covering the necessary foundations in the first semester. Students also choose one or two specializations and elective modules, and a seminar and master's thesis. Students can choose from the following specializations: international economics, markets and public sector economics, real estate and regional economy, empirical economic research and financial markets.
