About the Program

Business Administration is a versatile and relevant program that teaches how companies work, how markets develop, and how to do business responsibly in an increasingly networked world. The curriculum includes topics such as accounting, marketing, personnel management, business law, and financing. Students develop a firm grasp of economic interrelationships while becoming proficient in communication, leadership, and teamwork. The program at OTH Amberg-Weiden offers a strong practical orientation with small groups and real company projects, providing the perfect mix of theory and application. From the 4th semester onwards, students choose a specialization in one of three areas: Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation (FACT); Logistics & Supply Chain Management (SCM); or Marketing & Sales. The 6th semester includes a practical semester in a company, and the 7th semester involves writing a Bachelor's thesis.
