In today's business world, economic and legal issues are usually closely linked. This results in a high demand for employees and managers in companies and administrations who, as 'all-rounders' with knowledge of legal requirements, can avoid problems, resolve conflicts and organise economic events in a legally secure manner. As a business lawyer, you will fulfil precisely these requirements, as our interdisciplinary training combines legal and economic content and thus qualifies you for a wide range of professional tasks. The Business Law degree programme thus provides you with an independent profile and unique selling point compared to traditional law or business studies. The program offers you an interdisciplinary, practice-oriented degree with a wide range of career prospects. You will study under excellent conditions on a modern campus and benefit from our many years of experience in an independent department. The program offers three specialization profile fields: Corporate Law and Management, Sustainability, and Corporate Compliance. In the first three semesters, students receive broad training in fundamental legal and economic subjects, languages, and methodological skills. The following three semesters build on this foundation and offer the possibility of career-related partial specialization by choosing one of the three profile fields. The standard program takes 6 semesters, with alternative formats available as part-time study (8 semesters) or integrated vocational training (8 semesters). In the sixth semester (full-time) or seventh semester (part-time), students complete a practical phase in a company to apply their acquired knowledge and gain practical experience. The program concludes with a bachelor thesis and a final colloquium.
