Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program focuses on providing students with the necessary tools for their academic career. The program begins with scientific foundations and methods, starting with mathematics and statistics, which provide a solid basis for many subjects in business administration and economics. The program also introduces students to data science, teaching them how to extract valuable information from large amounts of data and derive practical recommendations for business management. The curriculum covers three important areas of business administration: BWL I: Accounting & Finance (cost and revenue accounting, financial reporting, investment and financing), BWL II: Management (organization, strategy, marketing, personnel management, digital transformation), and BWL III: Intelligence, Logistics & Operations (production control, logistics, operations research, business informatics). The program also includes modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics, civil and corporate law. Students can choose three focus areas from four profile areas: Accounting & Finance, Management, Intelligence, Logistics & Operations, Economics and Sustainability, and Data Science. The program includes a seminar where students write a paper and give a presentation, a business simulation game, and the option for a semester abroad. The bachelor's thesis is written in the final semesters.
