About the Program

The Bachelor's program in Business Administration at FH Wedel teaches students how businesses are managed, how their processes interact, and what makes a company successful. As digitalization affects all industries, the program also includes knowledge from computer science, introducing data analysis and the use of current business software. Exercises with personal supervision, data-based case studies, and projects ensure practical relevance and prepare students for a smooth entry into the business world. In the first semesters, students learn solid fundamentals in general business administration, including financial management, statistics, mathematics, and business law. After introductory courses, students choose a specialization in the third semester from: Marketing & Sales, Service Management, Accounting, Auditing & Taxation, Supply Chain & Operations Management, or Data Analytics. The fifth semester is spent during an integrated semester abroad at one of the partner universities. A special highlight in the sixth semester is the BWL project, where students take on a real company project in a student team. In the seventh semester, students expand their practical experience during an internship in a company.
