Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

"Buildings are always being constructed" - but construction is changing. Standard tasks are taking a back seat, while new, very demanding planning and construction methods are gaining importance; construction has become a highly complex process. New construction is no longer the only focus; the tailored development of existing buildings has become a trademark of German engineers. For these challenges, the basic competence of a Bachelor's degree is not enough. What is needed are highly trained civil engineers at the Master's level. The interdisciplinary Cottbus model and the high degree of freedom in designing the study content open up opportunities for personal qualification like no other study location in Germany.
