About the Program

The degree programme includes the acquisition and development of practical language knowledge and skills in three foreign languages: English, a Romance language, as well as a third language that is usually to be newly learned. In addition, it imparts theoretical, methodological and factual knowledge with the aim of developing transcultural communicative competence. Students acquire a variety of application-oriented competences in preparation for their later careers. The compulsory elective area allows students to take advantage of offers from other degree programmes, as well as to include internships and stays abroad in order to set their own priorities. Career prospects include intercultural activities, editorial activities, public relations, and event management. Students are recommended to spend one (or more) semesters abroad during their studies.
