The study program lasts 3 years. It is divided into 9 trimesters, of which 5 are on-campus trimesters at the university and 4 are internship (Praktikum) trimesters. On-campus and internship trimesters alternate.

No tuition fees are charged for studying at the University of the Federal Employment Agency. However, costs for accommodation and travel may arise.
