Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

The Bachelor's program in Business Education provides practice-oriented foundations in business studies and business education with the goal of enabling students to actively shape learning and educational processes in the professional and working world. During the course of study, students choose between two profiles: a business-oriented focus or a vocational school specialization with a second general education subject. Both paths can lead to qualification for teaching at vocational schools after subsequent master's studies. The program focuses not only on developing competencies but also on personality development, enabling students to act reflectively and responsibly in practice. The curriculum includes modules from business education (e.g., didactics or pedagogical professionalization), business administration, economics, and educational sciences. Students also select modules from areas such as business law, social issues, or the working world. In the business studies track, students deepen content such as continuing education or service management. In the vocational school track, students combine their business education studies with a general education subject - 12 subjects are available to choose from. A supervised orientation internship between the fourth and fifth semesters provides insight into the practice of vocational education.
