Information systems and Management is the link between business administration and computer science. The program covers the basics as well as specific areas from both disciplines. Management information systems specialists are experts in introducing and applying proven and new computer science methods in companies based on their in-depth knowledge of business administration. They find themselves in a mediating role in the field of business IT, in which they know both the user's and the developer's perspective. They plan and develop IT systems in companies and public administrations as well as for the private sector. They mediate between IT and management, analyze business processes, design suitable IT support and use IT to develop new business models.
