About the Program

Business Information Systems combines competencies from computer science and business administration. The program focuses on operational applications where processes in companies or organizations are digitized and optimized through IT solutions. Students learn to analyze, manage, improve and innovate processes and develop suitable software solutions. The program lasts seven semesters (210 ECTS) with a practical study semester (internship) in the fifth semester. From the fourth semester, students choose between two specialization paths: Business process management or Software and system engineering. The program offers excellent career opportunities in various industries, working in systems analysis, software development, sales, consulting, IT management or as manager.
