About the Program

The Master's degree course in Wine Economics aims to qualify graduate students for economic executive functions in businesses and institutions within the national and international wine industry. The program is offered in cooperation between Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) and Geisenheim University. Students spend one semester each at both universities to acquire the necessary course-specific basic knowledge in the core modules. They can then design their studies individually through freely selectable profile modules at both locations. The course consists of 20 modules: 9 core modules (mandatory), 7 specialization modules (eligible), and a written Master's thesis (equivalent to 4 modules).
