About the Program

This program offers two variants (specializations): Variant 1 (B.Ed.) qualifies students for teaching positions in state school service at vocational schools (e.g., vocational secondary schools, higher technical schools, vocational training colleges). This is the first teacher training program in Hesse to train teachers for the subject of health. The Bachelor's degree is followed by a consecutive Master's program. Variant 2 (B.A.) qualifies students for teaching positions at schools and universities in the health system (e.g., training, continuing education at nursing or physiotherapy schools). This variant requires a completed professional qualification in the respective field. Both options are organized in cooperation between Fulda University of Applied Sciences and the University of Kassel, with courses taking place at both locations.
