Vocational Education and Training – Mechatronics

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

The 6-semester course of study is not a classic mechatronics degree program, but rather qualifies students for future activities in practice and research in non-school professional fields, in the areas of planning, organisation and implementation of initial or further vocational training as well as for the advanced master's degree course for teachers (teaching profession) at vocational schools. Upon graduation, graduates are entitled to hold the academic degree of Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.). The main focus of the course of studies is on the one hand on technical content with a focus on mechatronic applications, and on the other hand in the areas of vocational education and vocational science. The course of study is designed in such a way that those graduates who are aiming for a higher university degree are offered further alternatives to a direct career start.
