About the Program

The Administrative Science Postgraduate Program (Verwaltungswissenschaftliches Aufbaustudium) enables future leaders to expand and deepen their knowledge and skills on a multi- and interdisciplinary basis to meet the requirements of modern public administration. The program was modularized and fundamentally restructured for the winter semester 2025/26. It concludes with the academic degree of Magister or Magistra of Administrative Sciences (Magister/Magistra rerum publicarum; Mag. rer. publ.). Since 1976, more than 1200 students have participated in the postgraduate program and completed the examination.
