About the Program

The Environmental Technology program focuses on sustainability regarding resources, energy, emissions, and recyclability in product manufacturing. Students learn the fundamentals of engineering to address these challenges and can specialize in environmental process engineering, energy process engineering, or water technology. The curriculum is oriented towards comprehensive engineering education in process engineering, with specific focus on energy process engineering, environmental process engineering, and water technology. Students learn to quickly grasp and analyze environmental, energy, and water technology tasks; describe process engineering problems and tasks, transfer them into models, and design solutions or experiments; create overall concepts for process engineering processes and optimize them independently economically and technically; calculate and implement specifications for process engineering components; integrate processes into digital systems for control, measurement, and process automation; adopt, analyze, and apply new developments in environmental, energy, and water technology; prepare scientific work; manage projects within given time and financial frameworks; work in teams and take on leadership responsibilities; meet international market requirements with knowledge of technical English; introduce and apply safety procedures; and analyze and evaluate process engineering processes according to environmental law criteria.
