About the Program

This two-year, full-time double-degree Master's program is offered in cooperation with multiple universities abroad. The students will stay one year at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and choose one of the partnering universities for their second year (e.g. Copperbelt University in Zambia, University of Namibia, Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya). The program provides knowledge on topics such as the functioning of managed landscapes (e.g., agroecosystems) in different world regions and skills to implement measures for nature conservation of (partially) managed landscapes. Participants will become skilled for planning conservation and in sustainable land management. The program enables participants to advise land users and other stakeholders. Graduates are able to work independently in planning and to implement nature conservation measures in different landscapes, to work scientifically and to practically advise land users, especially farmers, in sustainable land management.
