About the Program

The trinational Master of Science in Sustainable Business Development program trains individuals who use their knowledge and desire for change to work toward a sustainable future. Students learn to develop and implement sustainable business models that are economically successful while making positive contributions to the environment and society. In trinational teams, they combine knowledge from sustainability, business management, and digitalization, applying it directly in practice to drive sustainable change. The program is offered jointly by three institutions: Hochschule für Wirtschaft FHNW (Switzerland), Hochschule Offenburg (Germany), and EM Strasbourg Business School, Université de Strasbourg (France). Students receive a master's degree from each of the three universities. The program integrates economic, ecological, and social aspects to develop long-term viable business models. More than half of the study time is spent working on concrete sustainability projects with companies, NGOs, and public organizations.
