About the Program

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the overall process of planning, managing, optimizing and executing the flow of materials, information and funds through various systems, networks and processes. Within the meaning of a flow-oriented logistics in addition to transportation, handling and storage of goods, operational (service) processes of value creation are also included. The goal of the Master's program is to provide highly interested and talented students with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the scientific elements of logistic systems. Graduates can work on complex logistic-related problems in various settings. They are well-equipped to critically evaluate current research findings and to act responsibly. The Master's program in Supply Chain and Operations Management covers the entire process along the supply chain, from strategy development, design processes and procedures to execution.
