About the Program

The study program Study of Applied Nursing Science (B.Sc.) is combined with vocational training as a nurse. Graduates are qualified as experts in nursing science. They will care for patients of all ages in acute or long-term care, develop, implement and evaluate care concepts and processes in nursing and work in the training and further education of junior staff. The program is structured around subject-specific modules in three key areas: nursing expertise and nursing science, counselling and guidance, as well as systemic and interdisciplinary expertise. Students have the opportunity to choose elective modules focused on either acute care or long-term care for specialization.
