About the Program

The Master of Science "Sports, Exercise and Human Performance" represents a specialized masters degree focusing strongly on research. The study programme is characterized by its alignment on scientific methods as well as its strong direction into internationally used standards and the imparting of field-typical 'soft-skills' without implicating any sport specific practices. The program aims to enable students to work in research-based occupational areas, make scientifically based decisions, generate knowledge, and perform diagnostics, planning and evaluating independently. The program consists of 8 modules covering areas such as Sport and Exercise Psychology, Human Movement and Motion, Exercise and Sports Biology, Advanced Research Methods, Skills in Scientific Labor Markets, Literature Review and Research Project, Professional Specialization and Internship, and a final Master Module with thesis.
