Social Work PLUS Migration and Globalisation

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

Migration and globalisation are central dynamics of modern societies. In the four-year degree programme students are trained with a special focus on migration as a central field of social work. A year abroad enables students to gain international experience and several practical phases for the profession. The programme provides theoretical and methodological knowledge in social work as well as social and communication skills - partly in English-language courses and by lecturers from abroad. Internships are completed in fields of work that deal with migration, flight or the internationalisation of social work. The aim of the mandatory abroad in the third year of study is dealing with social problems in the host country as well as deepening the specialisations at the respective partner university.
