About the Program

The Russian Studies program provides fundamental academic and linguistic competencies, skills and knowledge in dealing with exemplary subjects from the history and present of Russian language, literature and culture, active and passive text competence, and scientific expressiveness. This 90 credit point Bachelor's program can be freely combined with other 90 LP Bachelor's programs at the University of Halle. The program structure includes modules in Russian language practice (levels I-III), cultural history of Russia, Russian literature history, and linguistics. It also includes a mandatory 4-week internship and general key qualifications (ASQ).
