About the Program

The Master's program in Romance Languages and Literature focuses on French, Italian, or Spanish. Students acquire competencies in the history, theory, and analysis of Romance languages, literatures, cultures, and media. Students in the main subject must complete a stay abroad of at least 6 weeks in a French, Italian, or Spanish-speaking country. Students specializing in Italian with European Cultural Studies as a subsidiary subject can participate in a double degree program with either the Università per Stranieri di Siena or the Università del Salento in Lecce.
