About the Program

The European Master in Renewable Energy (EUREC) aims to train post-graduate students to fill the gap between the growing industry demand for specialised RE expertise and the skills available in the job market. The 16-month programme is divided into three course sections: 1) Core semester - students acquire a solid foundation in key renewable energy technologies and socio-economic issues; 2) Specialisation semester - focuses on a particular technology (wind energy, photovoltaics, hybrid systems, grid integration, and Solar Thermal and Associated Renewable Storage); 3) Project - six months of practical experience in a company or research centre. Career perspectives for graduates are very good internationally, with employment opportunities in industry, energy suppliers, consultancies, research institutions, international organisations, and self-employment.
