About the Program

In this internationally oriented degree program, you will receive an education that will make you a specialist in the field of renewable energies, energy storage and energy efficiency. The energy transition, the expansion of renewable energy, the adaption of energy efficiency measures to reduce CO2 emissions and the sustainable use of natural resources are topics of high social and ecological importance. The study program is praxis-oriented and has an international focus, with the possibility to graduate with a double degree in cooperation with Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland. The program consists of 7 semesters, with the first 3 semesters covering mathematical, scientific and technical fundamentals, and from the 4th semester onwards, specialized knowledge in renewable energy technology, energy storage and energy efficiency. Some courses from the 4th semester are held in English. The 6th semester can be completed at a partner university abroad, and the 7th semester includes an internship and Bachelor's thesis, usually done at a company or research institution.
