About the Program

The Spatial Planning program prepares students for the diverse opportunities and challenges of designing and developing living spaces. Students learn how space can be designed for a sustainable future through sustainable urban and regional planning for society and the environment. The interdisciplinary program provides knowledge in urban and regional planning, including methodological, technical, and legal foundations, as well as social science methods and economic aspects of spatial planning. Practice-oriented modules, projects, excursions, and an integrated practical phase provide valuable experience for future careers. Graduates are in demand in areas such as urban and regional administration, transport planning, environmental offices, planning offices, and international development cooperation.
