About the Program

The M.Sc. Quantum Science and Technology is an all-English, two-year Master's degree course providing multidisciplinary coverage in the field of quantum sciences including quantum mechanics, information, communication, computing, imaging, sensing and further rising fields of quantum technology. The course schedule ranges from fundamental scientific subjects to application-oriented quantum engineering aspects. The program is designed to incorporate students of different backgrounds and nationalities. It aims to provide them with a solid knowledge of the quantum theory as well as the potential of quantum-related effects, both for academic research and for technological applications in industry. The programme comprises four educational stages: I - Adjustment (background knowledge in Quantum Theory, Physics), II - Essentials (advanced quantum topics, laboratory experience), III - Specialization (choosing from 25+ advanced courses), and IV - Practical quantum training, Internship and Master's thesis.
